Borrowed Offline Precision for a Random Future Covariate
Abstract
Correlated beliefs and stochastic kriging can support an application context not known during evidence collection. The comparison should inspect coverage and dependence assumptions together. Holding out meaningful contexts and directly checking changed recommendations reveals whether apparent certainty is grounded locally or borrowed from a relationship that the application does not share. This focused synthesis develops an empirical comparison that preserves the terminal action, observation process, and total verification cost. Its proposed tests are prospective; no new simulation run, model-training result, or intervention effect is reported.
