A Converging Budget with a Tail Shape to Defend
Abstract
An exponential output assumption can make allocation analysis tractable while remaining an application hypothesis. Convergence of that allocation does not verify the hypothesis. A practical study should diagnose output behavior and evaluate selected designs independently at finite budgets, keeping model error separate from the diminishing replication noise under the assumed distribution. This focused synthesis develops an empirical comparison that preserves the terminal action, observation process, and total verification cost. Its proposed tests are prospective; no new simulation run, model-training result, or intervention effect is reported.
