Changing the Energy Denominator from an Interval to an Hour
Abstract
The question concerns hourly total appliance energy, retaining six-interval hours only. The secondary ordinary least squares analysis contains 3,289 observations and uses cluster covariance. The coefficient on T_out is -0.0292, with a 95 percent interval from -0.0431 to -0.0152. An hourly sum changes both the response scale and the number of information units. Retaining exactly six intervals protects the total's interpretation without imputing missing energy. Offline rate analysis remains conditional on its own model; the aggregate association does not verify a convergence theorem. Prospective forecasting would require fitting before the later period and evaluating on new hours. The estimates describe the released collection and its conditioning set. No new data collection, simulator experiment, or deployment-policy evaluation is claimed.
