Measuring a Proposed Reset across Tissue Compartments
摘要
In immune-state and tumor evidence synthesis, a convincing output can still be invalid when one circulating metabolite claimed to establish a whole-system reset. The article develops a research agenda through critical comparison of published evidence. The primary literature contributes a bounded result: the review integrates cellular metabolism, nutrient/oxygen conditions, mitochondrial stress, and stromal metabolites as candidate mechanisms of persistence. Measurement design translates a theory into observable contrasts. A useful design specifies location, timing, assay behavior, and the alternative explanations a measurement can exclude. Choose measurements for discriminating power and repeatability. Include independent assays and explicit failure criteria rather than making every change compatible with the hypothesis. The proposed comparison concerns metabolism, immune cells, stromal signals; it would test whether the specific failure scenario is detected without erasing legitimate uncertainty. Implications are restricted to the evidence roles relevant to immune-state and tumor evidence synthesis, leaving broader efficacy and deployment claims unresolved.
