Abstract

AGIQA-3K gives two judgments for the same generated images: perceptual quality and alignment with the prompt. Across 2,982 released records their Pearson correlation is 0.814, but the quality-on-alignment slope falls from 0.813 to 0.530 after accounting for generation condition and prompt attributes. Twenty-four images also occupy opposite outer quartiles of the two rankings. The outcomes are strongly related without being interchangeable. A regression analysis of these public scores clarifies what evidence motivates separate quality and semantic assessments, while leaving the performance of any particular two-stream model to direct testing.
