Frequency Curvature and Local Rank Reversals in an Acoustic Surface
Abstract
The question concerns frequency curvature and angle interaction in acoustic outcomes. The secondary ordinary least squares analysis contains 1,503 observations and uses HC3 covariance. The coefficient on I(log_frequency ** 2) is -1.6553, with a 95 percent interval from -1.8946 to -1.4160. Frequency curvature and its interaction with angle allow local slope changes that a simple surface can conceal. Kriging and regression subset selection are useful for formulating a later local-rank test. Average fit alone cannot show that a selected acoustic extreme is reliable. Independent measurements at favored conditions would be required before reporting a search benefit. The estimates describe the released collection and its conditioning set. No new data collection, simulator experiment, or deployment-policy evaluation is claimed.
